Investors dropped $373 million into gaming across 77 deals—up 35% from last quarter, but still down 41% compared to last year.
📉 Fewer Deals, Bigger Bucks
Fewer companies got funded (deal count down 6%), but those that did raised more—showing a trend toward fewer, bigger plays.
🚀 Later-Stage Rounds Heating Up
Series B to D rounds saw a huge 125% jump, but early-stage startups are still getting the most action overall.
🌍 Where the Money’s Going
North America took the lead with $198M raised, while Asia had the most activity with 33 deals closed.

Here is what you need to know…
🎣 Fishing Frenzy: Uncharted Waters Now Live on Ronin
Fishing Frenzy has officially launched its first season, Uncharted Waters, on the Ronin network, introducing new features and play-to-earn mechanics.
🪝 New Features Introduced
NFT Rods: Players can acquire NFT rods through minting, trading, or opening chests. These rods can break over time and require gold for repairs. They increase the chance of catching Shiny Fish.
Shiny Fish: Rare, tradable NFT variants of regular fish. Prices vary based on rarity and demand.
Cooking Mechanic: Players can cook caught fish into sashimi, which can be sold for Pearls. Pearls are used to spin a reward wheel offering items like gold, bait, sushi, chests, and Frenzy Points
Frenzy Points: A new progression and reward system rewarding active players. Points can be earned through various in-game activities and are tied to future reward distributions.
Battle Pass & VIP System: The battle pass offers free and premium tiers, granting rewards upon completing milestones. The VIP system provides multipliers and exclusive rewards based on in-game spending.
📅 Season Duration
The Uncharted Waters campaign began on April 9 and is expected to run through the end of May.
